Q.Why only one photo?

Because I have a profession where people know me. A second photo would be a risk I won't take – and ultimately that also protects my guests.

Q.How do you manage this separation?

With very clear rules. No contact outside agreed channels, no photos, no exceptions for anyone. It sounds strict, but it keeps both sides relaxed.

Q.What does exclusivity mean to you?

Few meetings, but the right ones. I don't have several appointments a month, and I don't accept every request.

Q.What does your everyday life look like?

Starting early, a lot of responsibility, little room to manoeuvre. That's why balance matters so much to me – sailing in summer, golf on weekends, concerts in winter.

Q.Sailing – why that specifically?

Because you're unreachable on the water. Four hours of sailing replace two weeks of holiday for me.

Q.You train a lot. Why does that matter so much to you?

A trained body feels like control and elegance to me. I like the discipline it takes, and I like how it feels afterwards. It's part of my high-class lifestyle.

Q.What inspires you?

Architecture. I can stand in front of a building in an unfamiliar city for an hour. People find that strange – to me, it's relaxation.

Q.What makes a good evening?

That nobody has to prove anything. I notice very quickly whether someone is relaxed or playing a role.

Q.Who do you especially enjoy meeting?

Men with responsibility who want to switch off in the evening. We understand each other without explanations – that saves the first hour.

Q.What's a dealbreaker?

Curiosity in the wrong places. Anyone who asks for my real name or my job has understood that it was the last meeting.
